The juices can be considered as a form of daily intake of fruits and vegetables within campaigns of five vegetables a day in most European countries: France , UK, Germany, Sweden , Austria, Finland, Belgium , Poland, Norway, Ireland, Denmark, Italy and Spain.
A nutritional strategy that emerged a few years ago is called juice therapy. Basically it comes to consume fruits in form of fruit juice and not raw looking for maximum assimilation or availability of lots of vitamins and minerals that provide fruits and vegetables.
The benefits of juicing
The components of consuming fresh fruit juices in general and which are beneficial to the health of consumers, can be classified into:
* Water: all fruit generally have a high percentage of water , for example the black currant contains 90 % of water.
* Vitamins : Fruits are rich in vitamins, strawberries are a good source of vitamin C whose action is to act as an antioxidant, red grapes highlighted by the presence of folic acid and vitamin B6.
* Mineral salts: raspberry stands out for its rich in potassium , magnesium and calcium.
* Carbohydrates: Cherry stands out for high fructose content.
* Fiber: Blueberry provides much fiber that improves intestinal transi.
