Environmental Pollution Effects And Cancer

The society from called "civilized world" allows a number of amenities that would be unthinkable a hundred years ago. The economic prosperity of some countries has allowed many of us to have a relatively easy life. Science and technology provide the man many distractions and hobbies.

Cancer and pollution
This is because we must not face daily to natural elements to survive, which have time for boredom.
We traveled quickly, communicate quickly , quickly access a wide range of products and services. We get distracted with television, the computer  and a myriad of electronic devices.

Get food is  easy as filling the shopping car at the supermarket, which we comfortably go in our fast car . Household tasks are performed by efficient appliances,while we watching the football game on TV. This is the life.

But we have forgotten our real environment for which we were designed : Nature. We are no longer in contact with the fresh air, but we breathe carbon monoxide , dioxins , synthetic xenoestrogens and many other harmful substances constantly.

We can not drink pure water from streams, but plastic bottled water , tap water loaded with chlorine or some charged with chemical. Our feet do not tread on the earth, but we are completely isolated from the soil through soles, asphalt, concrete, etc.


Hardly we perceive the natural aroma of the trees, the damp earth , wild fruits and flowers,since the only smells that reach our nostrils  are of the exhaust pipes of cars, cigarette smoke, synthetic perfumes, colognes, fresheners, etc .

The food no longer comes from our own garden,but we must be satisfied with the quality of the food companies products.


That is the price we must pay in exchange for the modern society comforts. But it does not end here. The highest price falls precisely on our own health. The absence of natural stimuli and excessive presence of harmful agents will weaken the health of us slowly but sure.

The action of these agents are directly or indirectly carcinogenic, because they produce a significant toxicity in the body. The great distance that we are separates us from nature also separates us from health.


Why we colonize other planets? It is not enough with having destroyed one? We have destroyed the air, water and earth. No one can breathe in a city.
Industries of all kinds , incinerator , automobiles, etc. , produce carcinogenic smoke nonstop. Discharges in all rivers, heavy metals in groundwater , radioactive materials on the seabed : where pure water is?
