Red wine is a product consumed not only for its taste but because it is recognized important medicinal properties. A different way of wine consuming  is developing hot red wine which is considered an old home remedy that has interesting medicinal qualities.


Hot wine is a highly recommended drink for the winter as it is also a good way to combat the cold.


Wine contains substances like polyphenols and tannins that promote health. To the hot wine you can add fruit and species to enhance its flavor but also its medicinal properties.


The qualities of hot wine are: - has antiviral properties which helps fight flu viruses and cold - care and helps the heart - improve blood circulation and helps the body fight the cold

It is easy to prepare hot wine at home and there are many recipes on the Internet indicating the steps and ingredients so it is an option for the holidays this year and very cold days.


A hot cup of red wine before bed is an alternative to prevent and treat cold-related conditions. It is recommended that only a drink but is very rich if consumed over the headache is intense. Hot red wine should not be ingested by children because it keeps some alcohol and therefore is not suitable for them.

Mulled wine recipe
Ingredients:

1) 2 cinnamon sticks
2) Skin of one lemon
3) 2 oranges into wedges
4) 2 cloves
5) 1- Malbec exquisite bottle(or any other red wine you like)


Preparation :

Put all ingredients in a saucepan and warm over low heat for 15 inutes, with repair of the preparation does not boil. Stir occasionally to blend ingredients.
