Tea Tree Essential Oil - Part 1


The Tea Tree oil is obtained from the leaves' distillation of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree which is native from Australia, the aborigines of this country have used it for its numerous properties for hundreds years.

The essential oil of Tea Tree has a triple antiseptic effect : acts against bacteria, fungi and viruses, in addition, it is bactericidal, fungicidal, antiviral, healing, anti-inflammatory balsamic, deodorant and expectorant. The antiseptic properties, fungicides and anti-acneic are accepted and recognized by the Australian Department of Health.

Not known any type of toxicity, side effects, does not irritate the skin so there is no risk to health. Like any other essential oil should be avoided contact with the eyes, but if this happens, you must rinse them with plenty of water.


Precautions:

* The Tea Tree Oil is for external use only and should not be ingested.

* Because it is highly concentrated are necessary only a few drops.

* Perform sensitization test by placing a few drops of oil on the back of the wrist and observe if these    produces any reaction.

* If arrive to produce irritation, rinse the area  with water and use dilute solutions or discontinue its use.

* Not be used directly in infants only diluted in water.

* Not depositing it in its pure form in plastic containers or dry ice.

* The oil is 100% pure.

* Keep out of reach of children and in a cool and dry place.

* Wounds: Apply a few drops of pure oil on the injury.


To cure warts:
To eliminate the unsightly warts and not having to burn them or resorting to surgery, apply at night, a drop of essential oil directly on the wart and stoppered with a gauze, morning pull the gauze and during the day do nothing. The length of treatment depends on the condition of the wart.


Healthy hair :
The hair care also will be great help, since tea tree oil  regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands, so that will help in particularlycases  for greasy hair. It also helps to combat the fungus that causes dandruff by its fungicide action . We can buy a shampoo that contains Tea Tree or use a simple method that is to add about four drops of essential oil of Tea Tree pure on the dose of shampoo (preferably neutral) that we are put in hand to wash our hair.


Head lice:
Is a very effective remedy against lice. First we wash our hair with our shampoo (add 4 drops to the dose that we are going to use) and then, once it was clear the hair we will comb with oil-impregnated.


Personal hygiene:
This oil is very recommended for people who go to gyms, swimming pools or any other public places, in which they are exposed to multiple infections. Since it is a very powerful antiseptic, can be applied in small quantities in the hands or feet, or diluted in water through sprays or rinses.
