Dr. Zane Kime, M. D. , author of the book: Sunlight Could Save Your Life, came to be convinced more while studying the information of the research that the diet highly refined of west countries particularly with refined oils, plays a primary role in the development of cancer in the skin and that the light of the sun is only an accelerator of the problem.


The consumption of oils of salads and cooking has increased dramatically since 1909 when the oil was consumed in a proportion of 1.5 pounds per person per year. In the year 1972 this index rose to 18 lb.

Today this index is more than 58 lbs. per person, there is very little doubt in the documentation of the research whether the existence or not of a high-fat diet promotes a higher risk and the
earliest appearance of the skin cancer due to ultraviolet light.

Not only the cancer of the skin, also the breast cancer and colon cancer, seem to be increased by a diet high in fat.
Not just the oil (fat) saturated stimulates the formation,also the unsaturated or polyunsaturated will be the same in many cases. In the scientific literature, the oils (fats) poly-unsaturated have shown an apparent  stimulation in the faster formation of cancer that made by the oils (fats) saturated.


The nutrition and sunlight are intimately related.The light of the sun on your skin produces certain hormones and nutrients such as vitamin D unless we have a proper diet, sunlight has a sickly effect in the skin.

Sunbathing are dangerous to the health of those who are in the current American diet high in fat which is 45% fat or in those who do not have an abundant consumption of vegetables, whole grains and fresh fruits. It is not only diet of fats which promotes the formation of skin cancer but the grease of oils applied directly to the skin.

That is why the lotions, creams or oils for sunbathing cannot be recommended, because they stimulate the formation of cancer.

It has been found that the fat of the polyunsaturated oil inhibits the immune system. Is that even the researchers are using the polyunsaturated fat in the diets of patients of kidney transplant or implant of skin taken from other people, so that their bodies do not reject the foreign tissue.
