Juniper Oil
This perennial shrub that constantly gives berries grows in the entire northern hemisphere, although its essential oil improves the further south you will find this plant. Its leaves are short spiky and huddle together in spirals of three.
Are trees unisexual odiĆ³dicos, i.e. there are male and female members. The flowers grow in both but the berries fructify in the female.
Are green and when they are mature they become black.
The oil is extracted by steam distillation of these berries and texture is smooth, transparent color with a bright greenish-yellow and an aroma that reminds the pine.
Applications of juniper essential oil
