As we know the ice cream is usually made of milk, sugar and eggs.Also know that these are slightly harmful to health. But how many people know of the other ingredients that are found in the ice cream?

 The majority of the ice cream products take advantage of the fact that they are not legally obliged to enumerate all the additives they use to make ice cream.

Giving priority to the stability of the freeze, cost-effectiveness and flavor,mixing chemicals that are packaged and sold as ice cream, but do not have the true name, calling it with a name that does not belong to it.

According  to the analysis of several laboratories,they have been discovered that the following ingredients can be found commonly in the ice cream more economic.


The Diethyl glucol: cheap chemical used as emulsifier commonly used to join two ingredients in suspension instead of the egg, this is the same chemical used to sustain temperatures in automotive radiators and as paint remover.

Use and effect of these harmful chemicals
1.- Gluconic Acid Dietiles : is a chemical substance cheap, used as emulsifier, instead of egg. The diethyl glucol is the same chemical that is used as anti frozen and paint stripper.


2.- Piperol : It is the methyl -n- dioxy benzaldehyde is used instead of vanilla. The piperol is a pro- duct chemical that is used to kill lice, is used as pediculicide solution in 50 %, as a constituent of flour for flavors of vanilla and cherry.


3.- aldehyde C-17 : Serves for flavoring cherry ice cream. This flammable liquid that is also used in anilines to stain in rubbers and plastics. In large quantities it produces hepatic lesions, renal and central nervous system.


4.- Ethyl Acetate : Is used to give the ice cream a taste of pineapple, is also used to clean leather and textiles, and it is known that its vapors cause chronic damage to the lung, liver and heart.


5.- Butyraldehyde : Is used in the ice cream to give a nutty flavor, this is one of the ingredients of the rubber cement. It is little toxic, produces chronic toxicity in work of industries with manifestations of peripheral neuropathies ascending.


6.- Amyl acetate : By its flavor to banana is also used as a solvent in paint. It is irritating and depressant of the nervous system, the vapor produced edema of the glottis.


7.- Benzylacetate : It is used by its strawberry flavor. This is a nitrate solvent.As the magazine says "the next time you're tempted by a sundae or banana split ice cream or another, think about it as a mixture of antifreeze (cooler radiators), oil painting, remover of leather and kills lice" .

And if this has been placed in an ice cream, that will be made to the color, flavor,texture of hundreds of other food displayed in supermarkets?
