According to a study presented at the I Conference Prevention of Alzheimer's disease organized by the Association for the fight against Alzheimer's disease and developed by scientists from the Faculty of Public Health of the University of the South Florida shows that consumption of vegetable juices and fruit can help prevent Alzheimer's disease.
Experts analyzed data from more than 1,800 Japanese-Americans in Seattle, in a study that lasted for nine years and in which the participants were free of dementia at the beginning.
The study found that participants who consumed juices at least three times per week were reduced by 75% the risk of Alzheimer'scompared to those who drank juice less than once per week
The investigators concluded that the consumption of antioxidants abundantin vegetable juice and fruit may play an important role in our brain health.
