Cinnamon And Honey

Cinnamon and honey are the only food substances on the planet that does not lost or rot. Although its content can be converted into sugars , anyway honey is always honey.

If honey is left for long periods of time in a dark place will crystallize . When this happens open the cover and with the heat of boiling water, let it melt. Honey will be as good as when was new. Never boil honey or put it in the microwave, so the enzymes are killed. Cinnamon and honey can cure many diseases.

Honey is produced in most countries. The science accept honey as a very effective means to treat diseases. Honey can be used without give side effects and taken in the right dosage, even sweet, does not affect diabetics.

Weekly World News. A magazine in Canada ( 17.01.1995 ) produced a list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon:

* Heart Disease
Make a paste of honey and cinnamon, apply on bread every morning, instead of jam and eat it regularly as part of breakfast. This will reduce the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack.

Additionally, those who have already had a heart attack, if follow this process, will be protected from suffering a heart attack once again. Regular use of these substances helps retain healthy breath and strengthen the muscle and the rhythmic motion of the heart.

In United States and Canada, various nursing homes have cured patients very successfully whose veins have lost flexibility and have covered. Honey and cinnamon revitalize them.

* Arthritis

Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and evening a cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured.

Recent researchs by the University of Copenhagen showed that doctors who treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon of Honey and half teaspoon of cinnamon before breakfast, corroborated that in a week, of 200 patients, 73 no longer felt pain and at month, almost all patients who could not walk or move  for the pains, were moving without feeling pain.

* Gas

Studies made in India and Japan revealed that honey and cinnamon reduce gas in the digestive system.

* Immune System

Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viruses. Scientists have found in honey various vitamins and iron in large amounts.

Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood cells and protects against disease.

Therapeutics
Honey has many therapeutic properties. It can be used externally due to its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. So, honey helps heal wounds and prevent infections or superficial burns.

It is also used in cosmetics (creams , masks facial cleansers, toners, etc.) due to its astringent and soothing qualities.

Honey is also used in traditional medicine. It is an excellent natural preservative. Due to its simple sugars, for rapid uptake, honey's high calorie ( about 3.4 kcal / g ) , so that it is useful as an energy source.

Honey does not spoil, it is highly durable, does not expire.

Thanks to its high sugar concentration, it kills bacteria by osmotic lysis.

Airborne yeasts can not thrive in honey because the low moisture content.

The shipments of human bodies in antiquity were immersed in honey , such Alexander the Great was moved from Babylon to Alexandria in Egypt in 323. C. and Agesilaus II , King of Sparta, from Egypt to his native city in 360 BC. C., using honey to prevent decomposition.

The honey preservative effect is due to its low water concenration and is identical to that required for the prolonged preservation of sweets and fruits in syrup where the high sugar content decreases the water content.

Bees also add an enzyme called glucose oxidase. When honey is applied to a wound, this enzyme causes the local release of hydrogen peroxide.

Precautions

Honey ( like other sweeteners ) can also be extremely dangerous for babies. This is because when mixed with no acidic digestive juices of child, it is ideal for the growth of Clostridium botulinum spores, which produce toxins. The botulism spores are of the few bacteria that can survive in honey, but are also widely present in the environment.

Although these spores are harmless to adults, because of their heartburn, thedigestive system of young children is not developed enough to destroy them, so that the spores can potentially cause infant botulism. For this reason it is advisable not feed with honey or other sweetener to the children under 12 months.

Humidity is an essential component for conservation of honey. While the moisture percent remains below 18 % nothing will grow in it. Above this value may appear fermentation processes.

The mineral content is very small. The most common are calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc, phosphorus and potassium. Also present about half of the existing amino acids, organic acids ( acetic acid, citric acid , etc.), and vitamin B complex, vitamin C, D and E. Honey also has a considerable variety of antioxidants (flavonoids and phenolic ).

Honey Its Healing Properties

Honey is a sweet and viscous fluid produced by bees from the nectar of flowers or from secretions of living parts of plants or excretions of plant sucking insects.

The bees collect it, transform and combine with the enzyme invertase that containing saliva of bees and stored in the honeycombs where it matures.

Also honey is a secretion that was previously consumed by them.

The technique involves extracting honey from the honeycombs is known as beekeeping.

The physical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics of honey are determined by the type of nectar that bees collect.

The botanical origin of honey also defines the degree of ease of these to crystallize. Honey has its recognized qualities and is used by humans since ancient times for food and naturally sweeten, with sweeten power twice that cane sugar.

There are several historical references to it. Many other civilizations, like the ancient Egyptians or the Greeks, for example, referred to honey as a sacred product, coming to serve as a way to pay taxes.

In Egyptian excavations over 2000 years were found perfectly preserved honey samples in slightly clogged vessels. There are also historical records in prehistoric cave paintings about the use of honey.

They are known several varieties of honey depend on the flower used as a source of nectar and the type of bee that produced it, but because the bees manufacture it in quantity about three times higher than they need to survive, it was always possible, first, collect the excess for the human being and later performed the domestication of bees for the specific purpose of getting their honey, technique known as beekeeping.

Uses:
Gastronomics
Honey is primarily used in cooking and baking, to accompany the bread or toast (especially for breakfast and snacks ) and as an additive to various beverages such as tea.

Being rich in sugars such as fructose, honey is hygroscopic ( absorbs moisture from the air), so that adding a small amount of it in breads and cakes makes them harden more slowly.

The virgin honey also contains enzymes that help its digestion , and various vitamins and antioxidants. Therefore usually is recommended the oney consumption at temperatures not exceeding 60 ° C , because at higher temperature starts losing beneficial properties to volatilize some of these elements.

Cinnamon

Special for diabetes and lowers cholesterol and triglycerides. Results that consumption of this condiment can effectively reverse the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

And for people with those "small wheels" around the waist, is a true sign of metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance ( prediabetes think ) , this species can do miracles for them.

The dried aromatic inner bark of certain tropical Asian trees helps to reduce sugar levels in the blood. It even has the ability to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. And new researchs has found that this popular species improves the function of insulin in type 2 diabetics.

A recent study by the Centre for Human Nutrition Research Center in Beltsville , Maryland published a pioneering study of this species in the journal " Diabetes
Care " . Lead researcher Richard Anderson, said that this could be the most important nutritional research in decades .

In the study by Dr. Anderson 30 people with type 2 diabetes had up to six grams of cinnamon daily. A gram is a little less than a quarter teaspoon.

Six grams is a teaspoon and a half. All of them reduced their risk of cardiovascular disease.

Specifically :
Their level of glucose in fasting medium was reduced from 18% to 29%. their triglycerides fell from 25 % to 30 %. Their LDL ( bad cholesterol) decreased from 7% to27 %.

Their total cholesterol decreased from 12 % to 26 %. Between more cinnamon took more risk factors were reduced. The searching for a natural way to keep blood sugar levels in normal blood began more than a decade ago, when Richard Anderson and his colleagues at the Center for Human Nutrition Research examined plants and species used in herbal medicine.

They found that certain species, particularly cinnamon, made that fat cells respond much more to insulin, the hormone that regulates sugar metabolism and thus controls the level of glucose in the blood.

Is not hard to find ways to enjoy cinnamon, while cuts cholesterol and triglycerides levels. You can add cinnamon to hot apple cider. It is an ingredient in Chai tea. Cinnamon is delicious sprinkled on apple slices or pear and revolt in the applesauce. Add it to the mixture of pancakes and French toast. And to give a double blow to cholesterol, mix a generous amount when cooking your oatmeal .

The Ground cinnamon is widely used in desserts, pastries, sweets, etc, and whole is used to decorate and season some dishes. Used in cinnamon tea, which is to put some cinnamon sticks to boil in water until obtain the infusion, adding honey to taste.

Chemical composition
Its aroma is due to aromatic essential oil  that constitutes 0.5-2.5 % of itscomposition. The major component is cinnamic aldehyde, also eugenol and cinnamic alcohol.

With less proportion found the trans - cinnamic acid, hydroxycinnamic aldehyde or aldehyde -methoxycinnamate, ethyl cinnamic acid ,terpenes ( linalool, diterpene ), tannins , mucilage, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, carbohydrates and traces of coumarin.

Foot Reflexology And Other Therapies

Foot reflexology

The massage should be performed pressing hard enough, but without crossing the threshold at which provoke pain. According to the vitality of each organ, we can press more or less in each area of the foot.

To facilitate the massage we will use a vegetable oil of first cold pressing, such as almond.

You can also use olive oil or another. Anyway, the massage most natural is... , we emphasize once again walk barefoot on the Nature.

The total duration of the massage can be until 20 minutes per plant. Contraindications to reflexology are:

* Acute States. If for example one person has appendicitis, do not activate the appendix through massage, as this would aggravate the crisis.

* Foot skin diseases, bone loss, in general, any foot pathology.

* In pregnancy, when there is danger of abortion, should not be massage the genital area reflected.

* During menstruation, massage of the reflex genital zone should be minimal or absent.

Other therapies

Finally, it should be added that therapies and methods presented here do not represent all possible options. This world is very old, and this planet have passed many millions of human beings, many of whom have discovered therapies more or less successful in the fight against cancer and other diseases.

Many of these therapies have been widely circulation, whereas others have gone unnoticed. In general, any therapy or medicine that want to consider as correct must meet as a requisite the cooperation with nature.

Among the therapies that have not commented and that comply perfectly with what we just discussed, we can highlight, for example, homeopathy, traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture), aromatherapy, music therapy, etc.

In the case of homeopathy, some remedies are applied to enhance naturally healing organic functions. The specific remedies depend on the type of cancer and the patient's particular situation. Of particular interest is Carcinosinum nosode obtained from tissues cancerous.

Any natural stimulus to help us strengthen our defenses against the disease must be experienced. The most important is our health. Well worth making a little effort to get all the necessary information about all existing alternatives, regardless of opinions, prejudices and vain theories.

Foot Reflexology And Body Organs

Foot reflexology

Another drawback of life away from Nature as health is concerned, it is the isolation of man from the earth. Many of us find it difficult or almost impossible to walk barefoot on a piece of wild land.

Modern cities provide our displacements through asphalt, sidewalks, and other smooth surfaces. We also have comfortable shoes that prevent us from sore feet when walking. All this deprives us of the close contact with the planet.

This physical isolation it is also in the energy level, since  these materials that separate us from the land and prevent the moving of telluric and cosmic energies through us. It is obvious the beneficial effect of barefoot walking through the countryside, the beach, a river, etc.But every time we have less access to it.

On our feet are reflected all organs of the body, so that each area of the foot corresponds to a different organ. We can check the status of an organ , for example massaging the part of the foot corresponding for that organ.

If the massage is painful, or is there any sign of tension in the foot, muscle spasm, redness, calluses, etc.., Means that the corresponding organ is affected by some type of ailment. Similarly, the foot massage on that area will stimulate the corresponding part of the organism.

In the sole of the foot are reflected all most important organs, so that walking barefoot on an uneven surface (sand, land, rocks, etc..),we activate those organs through reflexology.

In the graph of above Figure is shown a zonal map of soles of the feet. This map is incomplete, showing only the areas that interest us for the treatment of cancer. First we want to acive the entire intestinal tract, especially the colon, because there is where "plugs" are produced and encrustations more easily, to be a place where faeces are thickened and stacked.

Activating this area will help the body eliminate internal fever. Also be interesting to change the vermiform appendix since often morbid substances are accumulated there. With free intestine of dirt and putrefactions, everything is much easier.

Also be interesting activate the area corresponding to the kidneys, because in this way we help the blood purification. For the same reason, also activate the liver and gallbladder massaging the corresponding foot area.

It is also very healthy activate the lymph nodes, so that increases the immune capacity and a drain of strange substances. We can see that in the sole of the foot are reflected both cranial and axillary lymphatic nodes.

Clay Benefits And Healing Properties-2

Clay Benefits

When there is an inflammation or acute pain, also apply cold. When it comes to giving vitality to any sick and weakened organ, apply it hot on the area where such organ lies: the digestive tract is the exception, since usually suffers excessive heat, whereupon the gastrointestinal poultices will apply cold (never after eating, of course).

For the case of cancer, cold clay poultices are recommended without renew them when heated on the abdomen, overnight, or during certain times of day. This cleans and clears the bowels.

In the case of cancers that do not affect internal organs, it is advisable the poultice of cold clay on the tumor, renewing it When it is hot. This application will be held daily and should last 30 minutes.

Clay also has anti - radioactive properties, since  absorbs radiation. In fact, in some nuclear power plants, the contaminated parts by radioactivity are immersed in clay for a while to lose that pollution. Thus it may be a good therapy applied in the case of problems caused by radiation.

Internal use of clay is also possible: take on an empty stomach a glass of water in which we dissolved a teaspoon of clay is a good remedy for cancer cases in the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach or intestines).

It is also a good preventative measure if we suspect that we have been exposed to radioactive sources or that we can be. It is also an effective remedy against heartburn, diarrhea or intestinal putrefaction. Another practice that can be healthy is the clay bath.

The ideal is to find a natural source of clay, and bathing directly in it, then letting it dry on our skin. But when this is not possible, we can always take our powdered clay tub and take a bath half an hour. It is excellent for skin impurities.

Clay Benefits And Healing Properties-1

Clay

The healing power of clay is very great, absorbing harmful substances, inactive poisons, disinfects, reduces inflammation, heals, corrects the pH, etc.

These general properties are common for all types of clay ( red, green, white, black, etc. ), And are not reflected when the clay is dry, only when this is wet. Therefore, any application will be valid only until no dry.

It is a economic remedy readily available in drugstores or specialized health shops. The most common packages are the clay powder. It can also be obtained directly from nature : look for an area where the soil is clayey. Once obtained we allow it to dry and we will pass it mashed in order to obtain the finely sifted clay.

To prepare it, take the clay powder and add cold or hot water as needed for each case, to obtain a pasty mass. We will daub that mass in a folded cotton cloth or similar, and apply it directly to the skin.

This type of application is called poultice or cataplasm. You can also spread the mud on the skin and then cover it with the cloth. The mass thickness can reach one centimeter.

The clay activity ceases when it dries. We care not reused once it has dried , then by absorbing harmful substances, is impregnated with toxics. It is best to prepare the right mass for each application.

As a general rule, the mixture will be applied warm on cold areas, or cold when the zone to treatment is hot. For example, applying a poultice of clay in the lower abdomen, we obtain an excellent remedy against intestinal putrefaction and internal fever, herefore, it is conceivable that the poultice must be cold in that case.

Blood Washing With Steam And Cold Rubs

Blood's wash

This technique, developed by Manuel Lezaeta, is a combination of steam and cold rubs. The heat that causes the steam opens the pores of the skin and stimulates the sweating.

The rubs cold clears the internal organs and transfer all this congestion to the skin. Thus, the toxic substances that affect the corresponding organ move away from it, focusing on the skin. If we return to apply the steam, part of said substances will be removed through the pores. We can therefore see that this application represents a true blood washing.

How to apply is as follows: first we start with a general cold rub, as explained above. Then we started with the steam batht, so that the whole body is exposed to heat, with the exception for the head.

This bath will last up to 45 minutes, but considering that every 5 minutes approximately we leave the bath and apply a cold rub on the whole body from the neck down, to return back to the steam bath. Finally to finish the blood wash, always do it with a cold rub.

One possibility for performing said home laundering could be as shown in the next  figure.

Figure
Steam bath for "blood washing"

We can use a plastic or waterproof fabric with a hole in the centerto take out the head. This hole must fit perfectly to the neck so that the steam does not escape for which a rubber band can be useful.

Anyway, the neck should not be tight. To produce steam, we can use an electric stove, over this place a pot of water, which should be simmering. If we dont have the mobile stove, we can place a boiling pot, which must be replaced whenever the water stops producing steam.

In short, this technique can be very useful to eliminate excess of toxins in the blood. Blood washing can be practiced on a daily basis if desired.

Hydrotherapy In The Local Applications

Hydrotherapy

Local applications
One of the most interesting utilities of hydrotherapy is its thermo balancereffect. When the intestines are congested, the cold water decongests them and reduces the internal temperature. Just as in the case of general applications, the interesting thing is the body hot reaction.

Vital Bathroom
This bathroom has a revitalizing effect on the body, so that its daily practice, both sick and not sick  patients, can prolong life and delay aging. It consists of applying water cold as possible in the lower abdomen, from the belly button down.

It can be applied, for example, sitting on a bidet filled with cold water, without touching the water, and pouring the water over the area mentioned.

We can use a sponge or esparto glove or similar rough material, which will rub all this lower abdominal area. Avoid wetting other parts than are not the under belly. In any case, it is inevitable also that wet the genital area, but it is also beneficial.

The action of cold water, along with this rub with rough material, will cause hyperemia in the skin and a warm feeling after the bath, signs indicative of its effectiveness and the intestinal decongesting. The recommended duration of this bath is half an hour daily. It is highly recommended for anyone that wishing to have a robust health.

Head pain and congestion
In the case of congestion or headache, migraines, etc, there is a hydrotherapy technique  that has given very good results. Since this is a very typical symptom of the early days of any  cleansing diet, is a shame to having to resort to analgesic chemicals products that interfere with the  healing process.

To decongest the head we will proceed as follows: apply cold water as possible in both legs. If we can not stand it, it can do the same from the knees down, or only n the feet. In cases of very little resistance, we can apply cold rubs in the  legs. The application of water will be short duration (30 seconds or a minute ).

Immediately after, will dry the wet part, we will wear, and if is necessary we will cover with a blanket. It is very important  the reaction heat in the legs. This additional influx of blood in the extremities means the decongestion and  head relief.
